WHERE THE JOURNEY ALL BEGAN...
Mark Bland began his fitness career over thirty eight years ago. He enjoyed body building and owned and operated Mark's Gym in the 80's. He loved training and working hard and providing a gritty bare facility for like minded athletes.
In 1994 he opened Body Workz Health Club in the MacArthur Shopping Center. The new facility expanded to include more weight resistance and cardio equipment along with fitness classes. In 2009, Mark opened Body Workz II in Bridge City, Texas in 2010. This location offers a 17,000 square foot training area and is packed full of exercise equipment along with a 7,000 square foot covered outdoor basketball court. In 2013, Mark purchased five acres of land on MacArthur Drive in Orange, Texas and built a 17,500 square foot training area filled with exercise equipment along with a 5,000 square foot basketball court and a 1/8 mile walking/jogging track.
Both locations provide access to personal trainers, group fitness classes for all levels and ages, and the largest selection of free weights and selectorized machines in the area. Unlike other gyms, our goal is to provide a welcoming experience for the novice and the skilled athlete alike. We cater to EVERY client's needs. No matter your shape, size, fitness level, age or knowledge of training...Body Workz strives to provide you the tools needed to achieve your fitness goals.
